So after the recent accident, (see previous post), I took the car to Maaco. I had heard bad things about their car painting service, but I didn’t care. My car is 19 years old and I don’t really see the point of pouring money into it. I just want something that drives well, and looks nice on the outside. Who cares if they use cheap paint?
After getting the car back, I was really surprised. They did such a better job than I expected. The paint was shiny, and the car looked better than it ever has in its lifetime. Take a look at the improvement!

- New Paint

Shiny Hood
As you can see, I added a new set of clear corner lights. They look better than the amber ones that used to be on (in my opinion). I re-painted the hub-caps, installed new lights, and washed the car
I also added a new front grill, clear front turn signal lights, and took off the front license plate :0

Black Metal Grill
I’ll keep adding updates as I fix things on the car. My next project is to install LED bulbs into all the exterior lighting. That way the lights will be brighter, and never burn out. When I’m done with the car I will have only spent about $100 out of pocket for all of the lights and grill. Totally worth it to give it new life
